Customize the toolbars in Visual Studio

Customizing the toolbars in Visual Studio
for your workflow and personal preference
can have a great impact on your productivity.
Best of all, it takes no time to do.
Now I've been using Visual Studio
for years, and I know the keyboard
shortcuts for the most common commands; so
I don't need them visible on the toolbar.
I start by opening the add and remove buttons menu
located on the right hand side of all toolbars.
Now I can start unchecking the
commands I don't want to be visible.
I use a lot of extensions, so I'd like to add the
Manage Extensions command so I simply check it.
Now my toolbar is a lot more my style,
but I want to add a command that
wasn't in the menu we just saw.
To do that, I'll click the customize button
to open the Customize Commands dialog.
Here, I can easily add any
command to any toolbar or menu.
I simply navigate around the menu system
to find the command I want - it's listed in
alphabetical order and I want the options command.
I click OK and it's inserted
into my toolbar - it's that easy.
