Chris Bishop announces partnership with University of Amsterdam

Today I’m delighted to announce a new collaboration between
Microsoft research and a machine learning lab in Amsterdam led by Professor Max Welling.
This particular partnership is really aimed at fostering the talent pipeline
the next generation of researchers and engineers that are going to enable the next phase of the AI revolution.
It’s our view very much in Microsoft that industry should stimulate that pipeline of talent,
that we should set out strengthen academia,
and that we should work in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable.
