Daily Workflow with GitHub in Visual Studio [Ep 4] Beginner Series

hi everyone thanks for joining this
session on daily workflow with GitHub
and visual studio where we'll go over
how to make a commit in your Repository
in my project I'm going to make a code
change
and get changes I can double click on my
file and see the difference view which
shows the additions in green and the
subtractions in red
optionally I can use the line staging
feature to Stage my changes one by one
to ensure I'm including all of the
changes I want and you'll notice on the
right hand
side how the file moves from the changes
section to the staged changes section
next I'll add my commit message and
click commit staged
a notification Banner will tell me that
my change was committed locally and I'll
complete the daily workflow by clicking
push
I'll get another confirmation message to
let me know I've done it successfully
I'll open my repository in the web by
using the option menu in the upper right
corner of the get changes window and
click on open in browser
and now in the browser I can see my new
commit in the web
thanks for watching everyone
